Message To me it should be installed into/inline of the stock system still. A catch can is there to catch and remove the oil, nothing more. And most have 2 ports, which to me are 1 in and 1 out. I always saw the install should go: from the valve cover run a hose to port on the catch can. You can run 2 hoses and T them but really no need since they pick up from the same valve cover. Then from the other port on the catch can, run a house out, T it to 2 hoses and then run both of those to the pcv valves.

This way the stock pcv system still stays intact, and the catch can does it's job, it catches and stores the excess oil. Of course all this hassel and extra stuff can be eliminated with the PCV reroute. It changes the location on the valve cover to a higher point thus getting rid of the chance that oil will enter the system like before. It's been tested by many many people to work excellent. And it also keeps the stock pcv system functioning exactly as it was before.
